Quickly, there is a brief message I would like to give. I'm sorry about not posting for a while. I had to keep up with my academics, along with the homework I got from my tutoring class. However, since it is the holidays in Australia now I can post. Now for the real stuff!! :D
Medieval Castle (31220) is a set released in 2021 as a part of the Creator 3-in-1 theme. It has 1426 pieces, and the tree builds are a castle, a tower, and a market. On the official LEGO website, the set has been given 4.5 stars. For this review, I will only be examining the castle build.
This massive build was my first 1000+ piece set. It was an amazing building experience, and there were unexpected building techniques used throughout the set. While in total, I had to place 85 grey, cylindrical pieces, the fun builds, like the falcon, rooster, hens and mouse were helping to not make it boring. The play features, which are a falling wall from the prison, and a retractable drawbridge, work well.
The minifigures include a blacksmith and two Black Falcon Knights. That's right. The notorious Black Falcon knights, from the 80s medieval sets, have made a return. The knights also appear in the Lion Knights Castle (10305).
This set is recommended for people aged from 8-12. Also, people who like castles, knights, and other medieval-age things should buy this set.
