My Lego-tastic Journey

When I was 4, I got my first ever Lego set. It was a big box with a bunch of bricks from the Classic theme. This set was bought from a Toys-R-Us store. I might have not realised it back then, but this was the start of my love for these simple bricks from Denmark.

The next year, on my 5th birthday, I got another set, this time for myself. It was a Creator 3-in-1 set, the Sunset Street Bike (31059). I did not build anything from it, instead, I built something else. The year after that, on my 6th birthday, I got the Airshow Aces set (31060), which was also a Creator 3-in-1. However, I did build the creations the box showed. On my 7th birthday, the set I had was the Island Adventures set (31064). Finally, on my 8th birthday, I got my first set from the Technic theme, which was the Racing Yacht (42074), which I quite enjoyed.

In 2020, I discovered a theme that would go on to become one of my favourites, Ninjago. Most Lego fans (if not all) should know what Ninjago is. I started from Sons of Garmadon, then worked my way up until Crystalised. I got my first Ninjago set in 2021, which was Zane's Titan Mech Battle (71738), from the Legacy subtheme. Last year, I got two Ninjago sets, Lloyd's Legendary Dragon (71766), and Jay's Thunder Dragon EVO (71760).

As of 9/07/2023, I am getting a new Lego set, the Medieval Castle (31220). My 6-year journey with these iconic bricks has been one I have enjoyed. Who knows what shall await me now...
